She has led a wide variety of hospitality, commercial, residential and retail projects. PROJECTS OF NOTE: Office of the Premier and Cabinet (Perth), Sheraton Melbourne and numerous local restaurants at Crown Complex (Melbourne), including Neil Perry's Rosetta and The Conservatory. Sara has also been involved with several International projects such as Ying Ren Hotel (Beijing), Westin Hotel (Mumbai) and City of Dreams (Manila). "I have a background in industrial design, and I did a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. I met someone who was in the company I work with, and when he described what he did, I absolutely loved it. I started working there part-time as a student, and then when I graduated, I decided to stay. Most of my mentoring has come from male figures, rather than female figures. The people that start the companies tend to be men. But within my company, I think I've been really lucky. My bosses have been incredibly supportive -- they make you feel really good and they try to build your confidence, so you keep growing as a professional." Sara McClintock Senior Designer, PointofView "Most of my mentoring has come from male figures, rather than female figures."
